Enjoy an evening with friends performing exciting missions in our amazing Museum!

Our Overnight Program is an exciting way for kids to have fun and learn about science, technology, engineering, math, astronomy, robotics and aviation. Sleep beneath our SR-71 and wake up to the sights of amazing aircraft!

Offerings:

SAC Adventure: Cub Scouts will participate in aviation-themed activities like using modular robotics, a tour of the hangars, planetarium show, and paper rockets!

Aviation: Through this in-depth hands-on overnight, Scouts will learn the principles of flight and navigation, as well as build FPG-9 gliders and perform a pre-flight inspection.

Engineering: Engineers are changing the world all the time. They dream up creative, practical solutions and work with other smart, inspiring people to invent, design, and create things that matter. Scouts will think like an engineer as they participate in engineering design challenges, build simple machines, work as a team, and more!

Robotics: Spend a night full of robotics and technology at the SAC Aerospace Museum where Scouts will learn basic programming using Lego EV3s, create a model of a working robot on the International Space Station, and more! “Get in gear” for this awesome overnight experience!

Our Overnights are great experiences for kids ages 8-18, and are open for individual or group registration. An individual Scout must be accompanied by a guardian. For groups we require a 5-to-1 youth to adult ratio.

All of our programs are safe, supervised, and highly educational.  Our Overnights feature a series of activities centered on a theme - aviation, robotics, engineering, and STEM. All of our Boy Scout programs can be applied toward Merit Badge requirements\. For Overnight Descriptions, see below.

Public Overnight Policy: The Museum reserves the right to cancel any overnight that doesn't meet the minimum, or in case of inclement weather.

How to Register: Participants may register online here. Registration includes museum admission, all activities, evening snack, and breakfast in the morning. Within a week after registering you will receive a confirmation email. We recommend that you register at least a month in advance to reserve your spot! We will, however, accept registrations up to two weeks prior to a scheduled public overnight. For more payment, cancellation and refund information, review our Overnight Packet.
