As one of the premier attractions in Nebraska, the SAC Aerospace Museum is a fantastic place to tour. The Museum is ranked a top 10 attraction by the Nebraska Tourism Commission and number one in Ashland by TripAdvisor.
The Museum offers private tours, public tours, or self guided tours with discounts for groups over 20. Tour guides walk guests through an experience, telling personal stories and accounts of significant historical events that span more than 70 years of history.
Price | Groups (20 or more) are $10 per adult. Youth fall under the Education rate and must be booked with the education department. Payment can be processed via credit card, cash or check. Full payment will be collected before or on the day of your visit. No refunds for weather or special circumstances; we will instead reschedule your visit for another date. Payment is required for the number of visitors confirmed at the time of your confirmation call with our staff, not the time of attendance.

The SAC Aerospace Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, is home to one of the largest collections of Cold War aircraft and artifacts in the United States! A new WWII exhibit opened in 2017 with five aerial bombers as part of the display. Visitors can get close enough to touch most of these iconic aircraft. The Museum is home to an SR-71 “Blackbird,” nine bombers including a B- 36J “Peacemaker,” B-17 “Flying Fortress,” and a B-1A “Lancer,” missiles, and spacecraft such as the Apollo Command Space Module, and a collection of Astronaut Clayton Anderson artifacts, Nebraska’s own astronaut. The Museum offers catering services for any group with box lunch and healthy food options.

The Museum is located just 20 minutes from Lincoln or Omaha, Neb. off interstate I-80 exit 426. Exit 426 is also known for the Wildlife SafariPark, Mahoney State Park, Cellar 426, Iron Horse Golf Club, Round the Bend Steakhouse, Quarry Oaks Golf Club, Country Drive Golf Course, Parker’s Smokehouse, and Historic Downtown Ashland is nearby!
