Not all heroes look like the ones in the movies — some of them are our friends, neighbors, parents, children or other loved ones. Some wear badges and others drive ambulances or fire trucks. Some protect our country and others protect us at home or on the roads.

First responders and military personnel act selflessly and bravely to keep us safe. They may not have superpowers, but they’re our real life, everyday heroes. And they deserve a day in their honor.

Join us at Hero Fest on September 8, 2024, as we celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication and sacrifices made by our first responders and military personnel. This event is a family-friendly celebration filled with activities, including live music from AMFM, a local band out of Lincoln, NE, that will get everyone moving and grooving.

We are excited to welcome guest speakers who will share their inspiring stories and experiences, highlighting the true spirit of heroism. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Come be part of this special day and show your support for our everyday heroes!
