Join us for a curator talk on the tragic events of KC-97 aircraft crashes. A presentation will be given on the relationship of the KC-97, B-47, Lincoln Air Force Base, Nebraska and the incident of April 1960. Our Curator will share from our collection; archival photos and documents from Lincoln AFB, artifacts from the 98th Air-Refueling Squadron and from the B-47 Association. The KC-97 will be opened for public viewing immediately following the presentation where our staff will guide you through the different areas of the aircraft. The event will end at 2 p.m.
There is no need for reservations and the event is included with your general admission to the Museum. Adults $12, military/seniors $11, kids 4-12 yo $6, and kids 3 and under are free.
