SAC Museum Develops plan to Restore EC-135 Looking Glass Aircraft

SAC Museum along with a committee of volunteers, has developed a plan to restore one of the EC-135 Looking Glass aircraft (AF38049).

They will also create permanent exhibits in the museum that tell the aircraft’s history and the crew’s role in fighting and winning the Cold War.

Retired USAF General, John T. Chain recently provided updates on the restoration plan, milestones as well as a brief history of the Looking Glass aircraft. Read the full press release here.
