Santa Claus Visits Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum’s Space Day

ASHLAND, NE  – (Nov 6, 2017) The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum celebrates Space Day, featuring Santa Claus, the Star Wars “Stormtroopers,” and interactive family fun activities during its Santa Goes to Space event on Saturday, Dec 2, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Museum is celebrating space exploration by offering space activities throughout the day. Featured activities include the Stormtroopers of the 501st Legion’s grand entrance with Santa at 10 a.m., activity booths, a make-and-take project, free cookie decorating to the first 500 youth, holiday music by the Heartland Community Flute Choir, and an interactive storyteller.

Guests are invited to take pictures with their young ones and visit Santa next to the Museum’s mini-fighter jet.  The Museum also offers free photography of Santa’s visit, to be retrieved from the Museum’s Facebook page.

  • Santa’s grand entrance at 10 a.m.
  • Stormtroopers of the 501st Legion from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Santa visit, photo session in the museum’s mini fighter jet, and other activities 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
